Murder suspect march girl
After being abandoned by her parents as a young girl, Kya grows up alone in the dangerous North Carolina swamps and blossoms into a sharp-witted, tough young woman. For years, rumors of the so-called “march girl” have circulated in nearby Barkley Cove, leading to her being ostracized from the community.
A startling new world opens up for Kya when she finds her attraction to two young townsfolk, but when one of them is found dead, the community immediately sees the girl as the prime suspect. As the story progresses, however, it becomes increasingly mysterious what actually happened – and there is a risk that many secrets that lie hidden in the swamp will come to light.
