A major crisis between two artistic families caused by the Cairo Film Festival, following the Egyptian artist Omar Hassan Youssef, the son of the famous Egyptian artist Hassan Youssef, went out to attack Hussein Fahmy, head of the Cairo Film Festival.
The reason is due to Hussein Fahmy’s recent statements, in which he spoke regarding Hassan Youssef and the reasons for not inviting him to attend the activities of the last session of the Cairo Film Festival.

Omar Hassan Youssef decided not to pass these statements and to respond to them sharply, as he published a picture of his father when he was young, and commented on it, saying, “This is when he was satisfied with acting. You still loved me at any opportunity, Hussein, Fahmy.”
Omar Hassan Youssef continued the response to Hussein Fahmy, following which he published a picture of the state honoring his father, and commented on the picture, saying, “How does the state honor an artist with the Medal of Science and Arts from the first class, and the head of the Cairo Festival comes out saying the origin of this artist is not intended because he forbids art.”
And he continued his speech, saying: “You need when you are appointed to a position like this, go back and know the history well..because the state certainly understands more than you..but it is clear that you are coming to the Compars and Hafez came out with two disappointed words like you.”
After that, Omar Hassan Youssef continued to publish pictures of his father in his youth in order to support him, and he also published the words of lovers that support his father once morest Hussein Fahmy, head of the Cairo Film Festival.
