The prima of the Opera House, Elena Kabanova, an ugly and, as it seemed to me, not very smart woman, made an equally ugly and stupid statement.

In an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the Ural ballerina casually spat a word at office workers.
Maybe three or four rehearsals of different performances per day. At such moments I get tired, but it’s not so hard. Many people sit in offices all day. And at least we move, at least we have some kind of life. It has its own joy and pleasure.
Kabanova, do you oppose yourself to those who work (or, as you put it, sit) in offices? Did I undestand you right?
Do you have “at least some kind of life”? Do office workers have this very life, in your opinion, no? Only you have life with your rehearsals, performances, stage?
No, Kabanova, you misspoke. This is your attitude towards the audience, most of whom “sit in offices all day long”, without having at least some kind of life, in your opinion.
Do you love life? Can you say that you live life to the fullest? What is your life made of?
