With our regional correspondent, Serge Daniel

Shortly before leave the city of Kidal to find refuge further north on Saturday November 18, this resident accuses the fighters of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner of having robbed everything in the house he occupied: “ At home, there is nothing left to keep. We also even saved our heads, because otherwise, they even wanted to shoot us for nothing. In the house there is nothing left. In the region, they took everything. »

The Malian Ministry of Reconciliation’s appeal to the displaced populations of Kidal has not yet been heard. The return movement has not started and we will have to raise awareness and convince more.

Especially since at the same time, the rebels united within the Strategic and Permanent Framework for Peace, Security and Development (CSP-PSD) denounces in a press release abuses once morest civilians in the north-west of Mali. The rebels are calling on human rights organizations to take up the subject.
