The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will ensure the permanent presence of nuclear safety experts at all nuclear power plants in Ukraine. The head of the organization Mariano Grossi agreed on this with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal.

“Grossi and Shmyhal agreed that the IAEA will ensure the permanent presence of experts at all nuclear power plants in the country as part of an intensified effort to help prevent a nuclear accident during the current armed conflict,” the IAEA said in a statement.
