Pakistan I province Balochistan Baloch Solidarity Committee, the organizer of the protest in several cities, has said on Friday after negotiations and agreement with the authorities that the protest will continue in different cities until the demands are met.

After negotiations between the Baloch Unity Committee and the Balochistan government last night, an agreement signed by the parties was released to the media.

After the agreement, Imran Baloch, spokesman and legal adviser of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, said that ’till the demands made during the negotiations are implemented. Gwadar Protest sit-ins will continue in various cities.

Speaking to Independent Urdu, Imran Baloch said that in the negotiations, we had made various demands, one of which was that 600 workers were arrested from different cities including Gwadar, Quetta, Karachi in connection with the Baloch Raji Machi or Baloch National Gathering. will be released before the sit-in ends.

The persons who have been sent to judicial remand will be released on August 5 after the court proceedings. For the release of the people arrested in Sindh, the Balochistan government will talk to the Sindh government and ensure their release.

He further informed that ‘cases filed against all people will be dismissed, except those cases in which there has been loss of life. The government will open all highways. Mobile phone and internet networks will be opened three hours after the dharna ends.

According to him: ‘All goods that are held by government agencies will be returned. Those participating in the sit-in will not be harassed or prosecuted. In case of injury and loss of life, cases will be filed against the family members.

Imran Baloch further said that the government had accepted all these demands, but the workers were not released. How to end the sit-ins in such a situation that none of the demands are followed? The sit-in is continuing in Gwadar on Friday, apart from protesting in different cities.

According to Imran Baloch: ‘Despite the agreement, the government has not yet opened the roads of various cities. People are stuck on the streets. Mobile phone and internet networks are still down.’

Imran Baloch said: “The government has asked to release all the arrested workers by August 5, so the sit-ins will continue until August 5.”

In a video released on X last night, while addressing a sit-in in Gwadar after talks with the government, the leader of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, Dr. Mah Rang Baloch, said that if the government does not implement all our demands, the talks will be postponed immediately. will continue the sit-in.

On the other hand, Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rand has said that ‘under the agreement, the Baloch Solidarity Committee has to end the sit-in, but there may be some delay in the return of so many people who have been sitting for several days.’

Speaking to Independent Urdu, Shahid Rind said: ‘We have opened all the roads. But it will take some time for the vehicles that have been on these roads for so many days to leave due to heavy traffic.

‘In the contract we and they have mutually agreed on all things. We are fulfilling their demands and they are ending the sit-in. Under the agreement, the sit-in will end. But so many people are sitting for many days, they need vehicles to return, people are waiting for vehicles.

‘So many people cannot go back in a few hours. Hence the delay. We hope that the sit-in will be ended under the agreement.’
