The Shocking Incident: Cat Causes Power Outage in Nivelles, Belgium

Saturday around 12:40 p.m., the inhabitants of several districts of Nivelles were deprived of electricity, following an outbreak in an electrical cabin. The Ores emergency teams intervened to locate the problem and resolve it as quickly as possible. It was, unfortunately for the animal, the intrusion of a cat into the electrical cabin (see photo) which supplies the Intermarché store.

The firefighters also went to the scene, and they took care of the body of the animal, which did not survive the electric shock. Electricity was restored to the affected neighborhoods around 2 p.m.
