The 56-year-old, who has been at Liverpool since 2015, explains that he loves the club, but the energy is regarding to run out.
– I have no problems now, obviously. I knew I needed to tell you this at some point, but I’m fine now. But I know I can’t put that work in over and over and over once more, he says to the club’s website.
Jürgen Klopp then addresses the supporters.

Kept it a secret for two months
The announcement came as no surprise to Liverpool.
– I told the club in November. I have to explain that the job that I might do that people see from the outside, I’m standing on the sidelines and at the practices and stuff like that, but the majority of all things happen around this kind of thing. That means one season is starting and you’re pretty much planning the next season already.
Klopp explains that the idea came when they sat down to plan future signings and training camps.
– I wasn’t sure if I would stay here then. I surprised myself with that thought. Of course I started thinking regarding it.
