The aim is to give new users of the social network the possibility of using these names. “This deletion is obvious for these accounts which have not tweeted and have not connected for years”, justified Elon Musk in a new message.
Since his arrival, the billionaire has been trying to make the social network more profitable. A new subscription at eight dollars per month has thus emerged: Blue Verified, mixes an existing paid formula (to benefit from practical advantages) and the authentication of accounts, until now free and reserved for personalities and organizations.
