The Sfinks Mixed festival invites a small corner of the world to resonate in Boechout

The free Sfinks Mixed festival invites you to mix genres and sounds from Thursday in Boechout, in the province of Antwerp. For four days, music from all over the world will resonate.

Salsa with the Colombian group LA-33, traditional Korean music mixed with more contemporary K-pop chords with Numori, the Chilean group Calle Mambo, the Ivorian singer Dobet Gnahoré, and the Brazilian singer, actress – and since 2023 Minister of Culture – Margareth Menezes… The 2024 festival line-up is adorned with exotic and local gems, with the arrival of Marie Daulne, aka Zap Mama. The Belgian-Congolese singer-songwriter will perform on Friday with her daughter K.ZIA.

The youngest are not left out since a third of the site is entirely dedicated to them. Jumping from inflatable castles to a playground, they will make their little journey to music thanks, in particular, to workshops to create their own instruments from recycled materials. Shows also await them, not forgetting the Captain Winokio concert on Sunday.

For the good forks, who says Sfinks says international gastronomy: the food truck market will offer dishes from each continent, all served in reusable dishes. Participants and visitors also have the possibility to bring their own cup to the site. Areas are provided for smokers, in order to limit pollution due to cigarette butts abandoned here and there.

Around a hundred solar panels supply energy to the local festival.
