The sexologist pointed out the fundamental differences between male and female orgasms

Male sexuality develops spontaneously, hormones increase from puberty, the doctor noted. Different think tanks are responsible for this. Thus, in men, the part of the hypothalamus responsible for sexual desire is 2.5 times larger than in women, which explains the much greater influence of sex on the brain of men than on women.

“Male orgasm is an inevitable process that is necessary for procreation. For women, things are not so simple. And this is the first difference. A woman should learn to orgasm like riding a bicycle,” said Alsou Kuchumova. There are different types of orgasm available to girls, although most often they turn to medical specialists with a problem when they cannot experience a vaginal orgasm.

According to the sexologist, this type of pleasure is difficult to achieve from a physical point of view, however, there is a belief in society that female orgasm should occur during sexual intercourse and preferably simultaneously with a partner. The founder of this theory is Freud, who was convinced that only vaginal orgasm is correct.

“These beliefs can prevent a woman from having an orgasm in other ways because she will be embarrassed to express her preferences. And here we come to the next difference – psychological factors can influence a woman’s orgasm. This is trust, feelings for a partner,” Kuchumova explained.

The gynecologist added that it is important for a woman to relax in order to enjoy herself, this takes some time. She noted that if attraction to a partner does not initially arise, it may appear or intensify along with arousal after stimulation of erogenous zones. According to Kuchumova, for men the very fact of achieving orgasm is extremely important, while for a woman the caress and intimacy itself is enough, and it is not necessary to complete the process.

Another difference is that women are characterized by multiple orgasms, while men can experience a maximum of double orgasms – at the beginning, contraction of the genital organs, and then combining this process with ejaculation. A woman’s orgasm lasts twice as long as a man’s.

The sexologist also said that at the moment of orgasm, girls activate ten times more brain zones. This is because they have several areas of stimulation – the clitoris, vagina and cervix, while in men only the penis area is stimulated.
