* Tell us regarding the scenes of your choice of the series “Telat Al Thalatha”?
I chose it two years ago, and we held work sessions for a year and a half on writing the script, and I was following up on writing it with the author, Heba Al-Husseini. The script was written for 30 episodes, but the circumstances of the series were very difficult, and production problems occurred, as the cost was high days before filming, so I withdrew and decided at the time to postpone it. For Ramadan 2024 due to lack of time.
I returned to work once more with the suggestion of producer Mamdouh Shaheen, to participate in the current season with the modification of the story, and to show it in the second half of Ramadan. The lack of time and effort that it requires, and the work put a lot of pressure on me psychologically, but I am happy with the success that the series is achieving, as I have received many positive reactions regarding its events, especially as we present a distinct and new dramatic plot.
* For the first time, you present 3 characters in one work?
Indeed, I appear through 3 twin characters, “Farah”, “Fareeda” and “Faryal”, one copy in features, but each one is far from the other, as each of them has a different style of speech and details, which required a huge effort during a period Preparations and filming, especially since the characters that I present are not similar to any of the characters that I previously presented with her dramas, just as the three characters are very present in reality. I faced difficulties in preparing for each character and then moving on to the other, but the script dealt with the details of each character in an interesting and different way that made the series’ followers wait for what will happen in the next episode.

What were the difficulties you faced while filming?
The most difficult thing was in the scenes that brought together two of the 3 characters at the same time, so I embodied each character separately with its expressions and emotions, as if I were standing in front of the other character, so I was looking into the void while filming these scenes, and imagining the reactions of the other party, and then I came back To embody the second character and so on, it was difficult and tiring and required intense focus, and I would be like crazy in front of the work team, and I would film for long hours during the day, but the biggest challenge was the audience’s ability to distinguish each of the three characters, through their dimensions and performance and not their features, and I was happy that They liked the work, because I choose my artwork very carefully so that it befits my name, my history, and what I have achieved over the course of my career, as it is impossible to present works that do not satisfy me or just exist.
Why was the director of work changed?
And regarding the reason for changing the director, Mohamed Hisham Rashidi, she explained that he felt fear due to the lack of time, and his inability to present everything he wanted, especially with the number of episodes reduced to 15 only, so I decided to complete the work and seek the help of another director, due to contracting with actors and agreeing to give them their money. So I was forced to seek the help of another director, and our Lord honored us with some, so perhaps you hate something and it is good for you.

* And what regarding the participation of Laila Ahmed Zaher in the series, despite the statements made by her father once morest you?
First, there is no disagreement between me and Zaher, and he may have made his statements following someone told him something that I do not know and he did not return to me, and I chose Laila before Ahmed appeared on a program and he says that there are problems between us, because I love Laila very much, and I felt strange in his words, because we never disagreed. And when the work team asked me, I told them, “Laila” will work in the series, and that we are professional people and we are not among the actors who settle personal scores.
Is there a response to what Zaher said from you?
I advise him to make sure of everything before he says it, because I am an intelligent woman and I have a lot of experience, and I did not care regarding the matter because I understood that the issue was a misunderstanding, but if it happened with another person who did not have experience like me, he would not accept the matter and it would become a problem.
* Are you returning to the cinema following an absence for many years with the movie “Al-Baqaa Al-Asaa”?
The film was tentatively titled “Passport with Afia”, and it brought me together with the duo Ahmed Adam and Bayoumi Fouad, and the director Sherif Ismail. In Egypt, through which I embody the role of “Huda”, an employee in a bank, who has a friendship with Bayoumi and Adam.
* Weren’t you afraid of the idea of presenting a comedy following a long time?
This is my second comedic experience following more than 20 years of showing the series “The Hajj Metwally Family”, and I am certainly very afraid of it, but what encourages me is that I am presenting work with a group of top comedy stars and under the leadership of director Sherif Ismail, and I admit that I enjoyed it a lot Experience, so I used to go to shoot for laughter, and I was very optimistic regarding the success of the film.
