On TNT channel came out the last episode of the series “Real Boys”.
In the finale of the TV show, judging by published on social networks videothe main character Kolyan (Nikolai Naumov) goes to meet the wounded participants of the “SVO” (as the Russian authorities demand to call the full-scale invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine).
At the end of the episode the waiter asks Kolyan to give an autograph, then take a photo with his wife Lera, and at the end – “record a video” for a classmate who “is in the hospital, from Donbass following the Northern Military District.” In response, Kolyan suggests going to the hospital. Afterwards there are shots where Kolyan and other TV show participants communicate with people in camouflage clothes, some holding crutches. The voice of Nikolai Naumov is heard behind the scenes:
What was I thinking while talking to these young guys who watched our series in their youth? I thought that maybe somewhere in the online movie theaters there were rich, sophisticated people who wanted serial fantasies regarding rich and sophisticated people. But reality is what it is. And these are the real, real boys who live in it.
The series “Real Boys” has been airing on TNT since November 2010, with a total of 10 seasons. Principal photography took place in Perm. Newspaper “Arguments and Facts – Perm” wrote in 2012 that “the series is officially recognized as a cultural heritage of the Perm region” – following the release of the first season, regional deputies awarded the television show an award in the field of art and culture.
