The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 receive a new update

Some time ago, we gave you our full review of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 headphones. And if you haven’t reviewed it yet, you can enter the following link that we leave below.

Well, a few hours ago these headphones received a new update from firmware. In it there are several novelties that, of course, we will tell you below. Before starting with the news, we must emphasize that this new version of firmware leaves us in version 2.10.19 and has a 2.1MB size. In turn, the update applies to both the headphones and the charging box.

The first novelty is related to the multipoint connectivity support, an item that was pending since its release. Also, this update enables support for high-resolution audio via the aptX Adaptive codec (96 KHz/ 24 bit). For the latter, it is required to have the Sennheiser Smart Control application in version 4.1.5 or higher.

Another element that is improved is the transparency mode, which allows it to be activated manually when we are using only one hearing aid. There is also a correction that was quite expected by users, and this consists of locking of touch control when the hearing aids are out of the ear. Let’s remember that currently if we remove our headphones, the music stops thanks to the proximity sensors, but even so we might touch the touch controls inadvertently and enable unwanted functions, but this is finally solved.

To close the news of this firmware in the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3. Also improvements have been made to the stability of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Like connection performance has been optimized Bluetooth and, as usual, more performance and stability improvements have been made.

Are you a user of these hearing aids? Let us know if you received the new firmware update.
