As of the end of last month, the average sale price of private apartments in Seoul was 34,145,100 won per 3.3㎡.
According to a survey on private apartment sales price trends by the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) on the 15th, the average selling price per m2 for apartments in Seoul at the end of November was 10,347,000 won, or 34,145,100 won per 3.3 m2.
This is an increase of 6.18% compared to the previous month (KRW 9,744,000 per ㎡) and a 14.4% increase compared to the same month last year (KRW 9,041,000 per ㎡).
HUG’s private apartment pre-sale price refers to the average price of general pre-sale housing, excluding commercial buildings, officetels, and union member pre-sale houses, among the houses in private pre-sale businesses for which a pre-sale guarantee was issued in the 12 months immediately preceding the announcement.
The sale price per m2 in the metropolitan area is 7,299,000 won, up 6.18% from the previous month. Compared to the same period last year, it rose 14.44%.
The pre-sale price per ㎡ of apartments nationwide was 5,183,000 won, up 1.74% from the previous month and 11.63% from the same month last year.
The total number of new private apartments sold nationwide in November was 18,728 households, a slight increase compared to the previous month (18,435 households), and lower than the same month last year (23,640 households).
Including Seoul (984 households), 8,882 households were newly sold in the metropolitan area, 3,796 households in the five major metropolitan cities and Sejong, and 6,050 households in other regions.
