As reported by the Public Relations Department of the Seimas, residents who submitted proposals will be invited to participate in Seimas committee hearings, where they will be able to present their ideas, argue them, and participate in a discussion with Seimas committee members.
According to the announcement, the platform will provide feedback to citizens, informing them about the decisions made by the Seimas committee regarding the submitted proposals.
At the moment, on the “Open Seimas” platform, it is possible to get involved in the consideration of two legal acts drafts: on the vision of the state’s future “Lithuania 2050” and digital learning tools in the educational process.
The State Progress Strategy “Lithuania’s Future Vision “Lithuania 2050” is a strategic document with a perspective longer than 20 years, which describes the achievable future of Lithuania using the method of future insights. The Future Committee of the Seimas invites proposals for this document until November 20.
The considered amendments to the Law on Education aim to distinguish and define the concepts of digital educational tools and educational software. Due to the amendments to the Law on Education, citizens have the opportunity to submit their proposals until October 30.
