“The Secrets of Dumbledore”: fantastic animals without any charm

JK Rowling had promised: Harry Potter is over. After seven books and eight films, the richest writer in the world closed the grimoire forever. She reopened it at the cinema in 2016 with Fantastic Beasts, the first chapter of a five-part trilogy dedicated to the “Wizarding World” and centered on Norbert Dragonneau (Eddie Redmayne, a particularly insipid and annoying actor), the author of the treatise on marvelous zoology studied by the students of Hogwarts. After The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), here Dumbledore’s Secrets once more brought to life by David Yates, the faithful drudge.
