The Secretary participates in the 2022-2023 Activities Report of the Institute for Access to Public Information of the State of Guanajuato.
León, Gto. November 24, 2023.- Guanajuato with the IACIP, is a model state as an open government, a government that brings transparency to the public work of government agencies, it is an institute that works and promotes the exercise of the right of access to information towards society.
This was highlighted by the Secretary of Government, Jesús Oviedo Herrera, representing the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, when participating in the ceremony of the 2022-2023 Activities Report of the Institute for Access to Public Information of the State of Guanajuato.
“The IACIP has helped the exercise of transparency, a conviction that this State Administration has assumed, because it represents for society an elementary factor for trust in authority, in addition to access to decisions that affect its development.”
“It is an institute that has always stated its commitment to being a guarantor of transparency, access to information, protection of personal data and government openness,” he highlighted.
The Secretary of Government, that the State Administration will continue to support the IACIP, because access to public information is a right that in Guanajuato we enforce.
He highlighted that with this report the IACIP fulfills its commitment to accountability and demonstrates the importance of providing information on government work, to encourage citizen participation. Participating in the event were Mariela Huerta Guerrero, Commissioner of the IACIP; Adriana Ramírez Lozano, President of the State DIF; representing the State Congress, Representative Alejandro Arias Ávila; representing the Judicial Branch, Judge Francisco Javier Zamora Rocha; and the Coordinator of the Guarantor Organizations of the Federal Entities of the National Transparency System, Magda Eugenia de Jesús Lozano Ocman.
