The Krivilii agricultural company (ŽŪB) of the Varėna district is small, but active and vibrant. It pays the greatest attention to employees, whose sincere work helps the company overcome difficulties and implement new projects.
The farm is mixed
The farm of the “Krivilių” company, founded thirty years ago, is mixed. Kriviliškis work regarding 600 hectares of land. On an area of 400 hectares, the Dzuks grow grain crops, and the rest is pasture and meadow for haying.
Animal husbandry in the company has always been developed together with horticulture. “This branch was not very strong for a while, the farms stood empty. Today, the situation has changed, there are almost no vacancies. We keep 200 milking cows and regarding 100 weaning cows”, said the head of the ŽŪB, Eimantas Trimakas.
