The relevant authorities in Giza Governorate continue to implement the planned removals of properties that conflict with the new 26th of July Corridor in the Barajil area of northern Giza.
The governorate had begun yesterday or a day in the removal work in “Izbat Khiza” next to the Al-Barajil Bridge leading to the Orabi area, passing from the top of the railway in the Bashtil area.
The “Masrawy” lens monitored, in pictures, the demolition work taking place there, to implement the axis in the Al-Barajeel area and the passage from the top of the Al-Barajeel Bridge and “Ezbet Khiza” until reaching the ring road.
Major General Tamer Abul Naga, Director of Projects and Compensation in Giza Governorate, announced that the authorities concerned with the governorate began yesterday, the work of removing real estate that contradicts the path of the new 6th of July axis in the Barajil area next to the “Al Barajil Bridge”, specifically in (Ezbet Khizah).
Abul-Naga told Masrawy that the demolition work began with the removal of one of the houses from the airport side, following the compensation was paid to the citizen residing in this property. Starting from the Ring Road to the Barajeel Bridge (Bashtil station).
The Director of Projects and Compensation in Giza Governorate, indicated that the value of compensation, as decided, is 30,000 pounds per room, and 1,500 pounds in the value of the shop or commercial meter.
On the fate of the real estate overlapping with the demolitions, Abul-Naga said: “We asked the citizens who own these properties, to go to one of the engineering colleges affiliated with any government university to obtain an engineering report and deliver it to the neighborhood they belong to, indicating the partial deduction of the real estate and that it does not affect the establishment and safety of the remaining part of the deduction. In addition to contracting with a contractor under the supervision of an engineering consultant, for real estate overlapping with a property dispute by a few metres.
And the Survey Authority in Giza Governorate had recently held a meeting with the concerned people regarding the properties to be removed in the Barajeel area to implement the 26th of July axis, and they discussed the houses and towers that will be removed, and part of them will be demolished according to their constructional condition without affecting the safety of the property in conflict with the axis path. .
