Barcelona.- Colombian singer Shakira and Barcelona Football Club player Gerard Piqué had their second child last night at the Teknon hospital in Barcelona, sources close to the family have informed Efe.
The baby was born at 10:00 p.m. by cesarean section and both the mother and the newborn are well and resting at the health center.
The admission of the Colombian artist, 37 years old, occurred yesterday around seven in the afternoon, amid great expectation, although they avoided the numerous cameras that had been posted for hours at the doors of the hospital.
The singer’s parents and Shakira’s brother, Tonino, who is also her representative, also went to the health center and were constantly monitoring the progress of the birth.
During childbirth, Shakira was cared for by Dr. Carlota García Valdecasas, a member of Dr. Manuel García Valdecasas’s gynecology and obstetrics team, who also cared for her in this same clinic during the birth of her first child Milan, who recently turned two years old.
