According to the EFE news agency, these scripts turned out to be drafts of the fourth season of the series and, in reality, they were found in 1998 by a member of the staff of Fountain Studios, in Wembley (London), where two of them were recorded. the final episodes of the series.

The writings were used for the two-part finale called The One With Ross’s Weddingin which members of the series’ original cast, including the recently deceased Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, filmed scenes in England.

The person selling the scripts, whose identity is unknown, had worked at the aforementioned British studios until 1999, although he kept them in a nightstand drawer before cleaning them.

The scripts were exhibited by the Hanson Ross team at the end of last year and had an estimated price of between 600 and 800 pounds (between 696 and 928 euros). As indicated by the auction house located in the town of Royson, these collectibles were acquired by an anonymous international buyer following intense bidding with interested parties around the world.

Amanda Butler, Hanson Ross’s chief operating officer, said the global interest in the scripts “was phenomenal.” “I just can’t believe the result and the impact this discovery has had. The bidders went crazy,” she added.
