Thrissur – A scooter rider who was caught between a Taurus lorry at Edamutta escaped with his head hurt. CCTV footage of the scooter rider’s escape has emerged. The accident took place at Edmuttam center around 9:30 am on Thursday. The Taurus lorry with the stricken scooter passenger moved forward for a short distance, but the tragedy was averted.
The scooter rider was going towards Chentrapinni. During the journey, the KSRTC bus in front stopped at Edmuttam center and other vehicles including the scooter behind also stopped. After the KSRTC bus left the stop, the scooter was moving along with other vehicles when it was hit by the Taurus lorry coming from behind. The scooter rider escaped with minor injuries.
