A pretty nose looks long when you smile brightly, and a pretty chin looks out when you smile brightly. Why are you stressed out? From the left in the photo, Jisoo of Black Pink, actress Lee Young-ae, and Minji of New Jeans. [사진=뉴스1]

“When I laugh, the tip of my nose droops like an arrow, which is stressful. ”
“When I smile, the tip of my chin comes out like a witch’s chin, which is stressful. ”

Sometimes I see people who say this during consultation.

Then, I ask.

“Which celebrity do you think is the prettiest? Have you ever looked closely at how his nose (chin) looks when he smiles? A pretty nose looks long when you smile brightly, and a pretty chin looks out when you smile brightly. Why are you stressed out?”

When you smile brightly with your teeth exposed, your facial muscles pull up the corners of your mouth and upper lip, pulling up the nostrils and tissues around your nose. The tip of the nose is anchored downward, so it drops relatively downward.

The tip of the chin is also similar. When you smile with your teeth showing, your facial muscles pull your lower lip down while pulling the corners of your mouth to the side. The lower lip tightens the chin tip down and the chin tip protrudes forward.

If your nose is too short, the tip of your nose won’t come off when you smile. Likewise, if the chin is short, the tip of the chin will not protrude when smiling. Therefore, lengthening or protruding when smiling is rather a characteristic of a beautiful nose and chin.

In fact, in the bright smiles of typical beauties that we think of, we see long noses and protruding chins without fail.

Conversely, if the tip of the nose does not come off when smiling brightly, it is easy to look like an awkwardly operated nose. If the chin bone is shaved too much by surgery, the chin tip may drop down when smiling.

But what is the cause of this stress?

Instead of looking at the entire facial expression that moves naturally, I often come to this conclusion by comparing photos of myself that I don’t like with photos of others that look pretty.

The gorgeous and perfect images seen on social media (SNS) do not actually exist. There are overflowing studies showing that social media promotes depression and even increases suicide rates. Internal revelations emerged that Facebook was ignoring the mental health of its users for profit.

It is a world where people are depressed compared to others. Should I be stressed out comparing myself to faces that don’t exist?

“A pretty nose looks longer when smiling brightly, and a pretty chin looks brighter when smiling brightly. ”

If you can understand all of this, but still hate the tip of your nose that drops when you smile and the tip of your chin that sticks out, should you get plastic surgery?

One way is to smile with your mouth a little less open. But to me, a bright smile looks prettier.
