The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the official schedule of the Cricket World Cup. The World Cup schedule was released during a special event in the Indian city of Mumbai, the schedule has been released on the occasion of the ICC 100-day countdown.
According to the schedule released by ICC, the World Cup will be played at 12 venues, the 10 teams involved in the World Cup will play 9, 9 matches.
The first match will be between defending champions England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad, India.
Pakistan will play their first match on October 6 once morest Qualifier 1 in Hyderabad while the national team will play their second match on October 12 once morest Qualifier 2 in Hyderabad.
The match between Pakistan and India will be played in Ahmedabad on October 15, while the national team will take on Australia in Bengaluru on October 20.
Pakistan team will play a match once morest Afghanistan in Chennai on October 23 and South Africa on October 27 and Bangladesh on October 31.
Pakistan team will play the last group match once morest New Zealand on November 4 and England on November 12.
The first semi-final of the World Cup will be played in Mumbai on November 15, while the second semi-final will be played on November 16.
The World Cup final will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
