The Saudi women’s cycling team takes the podium of the Arab championship

The players of the Saudi national cycling team succeeded in ascending the podium with their honorable results during the 11th Arab Championship for Track “Adult – Youth – Women” hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt on the Cairo International Track.

The Saudi cycling team players presented an honorable and distinguished performance that resulted in their harvest of various medals in different races during their participation in the Arab Track Championship, hosted by Egypt, with the participation of 9 Arab teams.

The results of the tournament included the Saudi women’s team achieving the silver medal for the Madison race in the Arab track, as well as the bronze medal for the team speed race and team pursuit, while the participating players achieved various other medals.

The athlete, Munira Al-Dariwish, won the bronze in the individual pursuit race, as well as the bronze in the Scratch race, in the Arab track.

The Saudi female athlete, Munira Al-Dariwish, is one of the distinguished players in the Saudi Cycling Federation. Among the champions of the first women’s cycling race that was held in Riyadh, and she was selected among the members of the women’s committee in the committees of the Saudi Triathlon Federation, which is the committee that deals with the women’s sports programs for the Saudi Triathlon Federation.

The Saudi cycling team’s player, Mashael Al-Hazmi, also won the bronze in three races in the Arab track, which are the individual race once morest the clock, the sprint race, and the aluminum race.

And the player “Mashael Al-Hazmi” succeeded in finding a distinguished position for her in cycling, when she won first place among the champions of the first women’s race that was held during the month of February 2022 AD, and she was part of the Saudi women’s cycling team participating in the general individual race (50-60 km). ) who won the silver medal in the third Gulf Games in Kuwait, and Al-Hazmi achieved first place in the C category for women within the “virtual races” event at the level of the Arab world, as part of the celebrations of the Saudi Cycling Federation in cooperation with the Arab Federation on the occasion of the “Arab Bicycle Day”, which Held during October 2021.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi cycling team succeeded in harvesting many gold, silver and bronze medals in the 11th Arab Championship for the track “Adult – Youth – Women” hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt at the Cairo International Track, with the participation of 120 male and female players representing 9 Arab teams.

The Saudi Green won gold medals through Abdulaziz Al-Duraei in the exclusion and kilo races, the youth team in the team pursuit race, and Ahmed Abu Abdullah in the individual pursuit race.

The silver medals came from the adult and youth team in the team sprints, Abdulaziz Al-Duraei in the Keren race, and the women’s team in Madison, and Reda Al-Manasif and Azzam Al-Abdul Moneim in the individual kilo races.

The bronze medals were won by Munira Al-Dariwish in the scratch competitions, Mashael Al-Hazmi in the three individual races once morest the clock, the Sprint and the Aluminum, the women’s team in the team sprint and team pursuit races, the adult team in the team pursuit, Azzam Al-Abdul-Moneim in the Kerry race, Abdulaziz Al-Khuwaitem in the individual kilo, and Al-Baraa Jabra in the points race.
