The Saudi national team continued its training in its camp, currently in the capital, Abu Dhabi, in preparation for facing China Thursday at Sharjah Sports Stadium, as part of the ninth round of Group B in the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The official website of the Saudi Federation stated that the team’s training to face China witnessed the presence of Yasser Al-Mishal, President of the Federation, while the team conducted a training session at the stadium of his residence hotel under the leadership of its French coach, Herve Renard.
He added: The Saudi team will continue its training today to put the final touches on the team’s preparations before traveling to the Emirate of Sharjah.
The Saudi national team leads the first place in Group B with 19 points, one point behind the Japanese team, while Australia is third with 15 points.
On the other hand, the Chinese team occupies fifth place with five points, three points behind the Omani team, which is in fourth place, and two points ahead of Vietnam, who is in sixth place.
