The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah cancels the “Umrah Host Visa”

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the “Umrah host visa” has been canceled, stressing that if there are any developments, they will be announced through the official channels of the ministry. According to what was reported by “Okaz” newspaper.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had confirmed, earlier, that the “Umrah Host visa” is subject to setting standards and requirements regulating it, and it has not been implemented and there is no specific time for its activation, and if it is activated, it will be announced on the various platforms of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in then.

In the same context, the “Absher” platform for electronic services confirmed that it is not possible to issue a “host’s Umrah visa” through the platform, calling for communication with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in this regard.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has previously announced that only two categories of non-Saudis have been identified, who are allowed to perform the rituals of Hajj this year. It is not possible for holders of a visitor visa or a business visa to apply for a permit to perform Hajj this year.
