The decision aims to localize postal services and parcel transportation, including the functions of providing delivery services via electronic platforms, parcel transportation (local and international), parcel transportation (local), express mail activities, activities for transporting mail and parcels by bag, activities for receiving, delivering and transporting items and postal parcels, And providing postal room management services, in addition to providing processing and storage services for items and postal parcels and redistributing them, providing postal logistics services, activities of private mail carriers, activities of private mail services and delivery of transactions, normal mail activities, express mail activities, and other postal activities.
It is noteworthy that the previously issued decision included the localization of “chief executives” professions by 100%, and “first-level positions for senior management by 60%, which will enter into force in early April 2023, while in the second phase, it includes localization of “second-level senior management” jobs by 70%. , which will enter into force as of early October 2023.
The Ministry will provide a package of incentives and support related to supporting private sector establishments to assist them in hiring Saudis, including: support for the recruitment process and the search for suitable workers, support for the necessary training and qualification process, assistance for the employment process and job stability for Saudis, in addition to the priority of benefiting from all the localization support programs available at system, and support and employment programs through the Human Resources Development Fund “Godf”.
This decision comes within the framework of the cooperation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development with the supervisory authorities represented in the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services and the Transport Authority, in order to organize the Saudi labor market, develop it and raise its efficiency, to increase the participation of male and female citizens in the private sector, provide more quality job opportunities, and achieve job stability.
