The Saudi “Green” camp for the World Cup in Abu Dhabi

The Saudi Football Association announced that his country will play two preparatory friendly matches for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar once morest Iceland and Panama in Abu Dhabi next November.
The Saudi team will face Iceland on the sixth of November, to meet its Panamanian counterpart four days later, before returning to the capital, Riyadh, to face Croatia on the 16th of the same month.
The “green” will play two friendlies next September once morest Ecuador and the United States on the 23rd and 27th of it in the Spanish city of Murcia.
The Saudi national team played two friendly matches in June once morest Colombia and Venezuela during the camp it held in the Spanish city of Alicante, and lost them 1-0.
The Saudi national team was placed in Group C in the World Cup, along with Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
Saudi Arabia is participating in the World Cup for the sixth time in its history following 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2018, the best first in the United States 1994, when it overtook Belgium in the group stage with a historic goal by Saeed Al-Owairan, before being deposited in the playoffs once morest Sweden 1-3.
