The Saudi Energy Minister cites a play in his comment on the OPEC + decision to cut oil production

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)– Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman relied on one of the plays in commenting on the OPEC + group’s announcement of its decision to reduce the ceiling of oil production by two million barrels per day.

The response of the Saudi Energy Minister came when answering a question regarding some people saying that the decision to cut production will not have the hoped-for real effect on the market performance, while it will have a long-term impact on global economies at the same time.

At the time, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said: “There is no lineage, if what has an effect, then it means how it affects inflation. I don’t know if it is appropriate to mention Adel Imam’s play or not, (when he said) Oh, you stink, you stink, oh this, oh this. … What a trace we are trying to measure, what a trace there is, and may God’s prayers be upon Muhammad and our guide.”

The Saudi official clarified that it is not correct to talk regarding the real effect of the OPEC Plus decision to cut 500,000 barrels per day, explaining, “500 barrels. This is not true… Our estimates are in the range of one million and 100,000.”
