“This procedure is the pfirst thing we have to do and a year ago we started with continuous training for the entire UHPROT team (Hospital Unit for the Procurement of Organs and Tissues) that operates in San Martín de los Andes,” he explained.
Key equipment for ablation
In October, Incucai authorities, headed by its owner, Carlos Soratti, signed with the hospital authorities a Management Commitment for the Implementation of Hospital Organ and Tissue Procurement Units, and begin the Cucai San Martín de los Andes path.
In November, the donation of new electroencephalography equipment provided by Incucai, fundamental for the work required to procure organs and tissues. The device defines the electrical activity of the brain and is essential for performing electroencephalograms on potential donors.
