A design that fits in your pocket
Le Samsung Galaxy S22 roughly resumes the aesthetic features of its predecessor, with in particular this photo module which wraps on the left edge of the smartphone. Top notch performance, but…
If most high-end Android smartphones in 2022 choose Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, true to itself, Samsung obviously opts once again for its in-house solution. We are talking here about the Exynos 2200 SoC engraved in 4 nm and which is trailing the Qualcomm chip in the benchmarks. The user experience under Android 12 with the One UI 4 interface will always be fluid, even when abusing multitasking with greedy applications, but it should still be noted a slight drop in graphics performance. In 60 fps, epic quality and 100% 3D resolution on the Fortnite game, it will unfortunately be possible to experience some slowdowns.
As far as battery life is concerned, the Galaxy S22 made the wrong choice of carrying a very small battery of only 3,700 mAh. Both on paper and in practice, it’s far too little to last a whole day with intensive use. You will therefore have to think about bringing your charger everywhere with you to recover percentages, and unfortunately not so quickly with the fast charge of only 25 W, where it will take more than 1h30 to go beyond 90% battery. Wireless charging is obviously part of it, and fortunately in this price range.
