The Samsung 75QN800C TV test has joined our comparison

The Samsung 75QN800C is a very good model. It displays a very well calibrated and above all very bright image, which sublimates HDR content. Too bad the IPS panel somewhat limits the native contrast, fortunately compensated by a Mini-Led backlight system with many zones. The Slim One Connect box is always a success with the possibility of being deported or attached to the foot of the television, facilitating installation on the wall. The contribution of 8K Ultra definition is appreciable on this 75-inch panel, even if native content is still very rare. Finally, it will be necessary to put up with the higher than average consumption induced by this high resolution.

An alternative

The LG 77C2 — the 77-inch (196 cm) version of the LG 65C2 we tested — remains one of the benchmarks on the television market, offering a perfectly calibrated image and a very high quality HDR experience. LG even offers itself the luxury of reducing the consumption of its Oled TV and improving the responsiveness of the system while increasing the functionalities. On the video processing side, LG no longer has much to prove, both in terms of upscaling and motion compensation. If we add to this an undisguised ease in video games, the LG 77C2 television is a model of versatility that suits everyone: from movie buffs to video game enthusiasts through sports or documentary enthusiasts. It’s hard to be disappointed with the LG C2.
