The Russians did not drop a powerful ODAB-9000 bomb on Vovchansk, – ZSU

The Ukrainian military denied that the Russians dropped an ODAB-9000 aerial bomb on Vovchansk. This was reported by the spokesman of the operative-tactical group “Kharkiv” Vitaly Sarantsev.

“The use of this ammunition requires a suitable carrier, which could theoretically be, for example, a Tu-160 strategic bomber, but the movement of such aircraft has not been recorded. An ammunition of smaller weight and power was used, the explosion of which was used by the propagandists to create a “spectacular” picture,” the military officer commented.

He added that such messages could be part of an information war aimed at demoralizing servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, intimidating the local population and destabilizing the region.

Vitaly Sarantsev called on representatives of the Ukrainian media and administrators of Telegram channels to observe information hygiene and use verified sources of information.

Note that the day before, Russian propagandists reported on Telegram about the alleged use of ODAB-9000 in Vovchansk.

As you know, the ODAB-9000 is considered the most powerful non-nuclear projectile in Russia. It was tested only once in 2007. In fact, it is a high-explosion aerial bomb.
