He also added, “We have unparalleled naval missiles in the world, and our navy is highly efficient,” noting that “there are no limits to the capabilities of the Tsircon missiles, and we will continue to explore various marine technologies.”

march attack

This comes hours following the governor of Sebastopol in the Crimea, Mikhail Razvozjaev, announced that a drone attack targeted the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the city of Sebastopol on Sunday, wounding 6 people.

“This morning, the Ukrainian nationalists decided to spoil the holiday of the Russian fleet,” which Moscow celebrates on Sunday, Razvozgayev wrote on Telegram, according to AFP.

He also added that all celebrations of the Russian Fleet’s Day in the city were “cancelled for security reasons,” calling on the residents of Sebastopol not to leave their homes “if possible.”

Kyiv denies

On the other hand, Ukraine denied that it had attacked the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea with a drone, which led to the injury of 6 people, according to Moscow, and described the Russian accusations as a “deliberate provocation.”

A spokesman for the Odessa Regional Administration, Sergey Brachuk, said in a statement that the Russian accusations of “Ukrainian attack on the headquarters of the Russian fleet in Sebastopol” are a “deliberate provocation.” Crimea It will happen in another, more efficient way,” he said.

First time

This is the first time that the Russian authorities have reported an attack of this kind since the start of its military operation in Ukraine on February 24.

It is noteworthy that in the early days of its operation, Russia controlled part of southern Ukraine, especially the Kherson region near the Crimea peninsula, which it annexed in 2014.

In recent weeks, however, Ukrainian forces have moved on to the offensive once more in the south to reclaim these lost territories, with some success.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian strikes destroyed an important bridge in Kherson, a city controlled by Russian forces.
