The Russian army uses new drones in a special military operation

Russia – “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” newspaper reported that the Russian army has begun using the new “MiS-35” drones in special military operations.

The newspaper pointed out that the new Russian MiS-35 drones can perform various tasks, including monitoring and reconnaissance missions. They can also be used to drop ammunition on enemy units and sites, and they can also work as suicide drones.

A source in the company developing these aircraft told the Russian TASS agency: “We are seeking to increase the number of aircraft that we deliver to the Russian army, and to expand their areas of use. They are now undergoing the final stages of testing in preparation for launching their serial production, and experts are providing us with advice to develop them and improve their capabilities.”

The source pointed out that the new drones are equipped with cameras and equipment capable of transmitting images directly to the operator and completing reconnaissance missions in an excellent manner. They are also able to constantly change their frequencies so as not to be affected by the work of electronic warfare systems, and they have a special guidance system that enables them to leave a work area. Electronic warfare systems, and return to the place from which they were launched independently if contact with the operator is lost.

According to available information, the new “MiS-35” drones have the ability to fly at a speed of 63 km/h, and can remain in the air for 45 minutes without a payload, fly for 32 minutes with a payload weighing 3.4 kg, and for 21 minutes with a payload weighing 4.5 kg.
