Russian forces bombed a village with five Hailstone missiles, the Ukrainian Interfax news agency reported, on Sunday.
The agency said that the village, Hanivka, is located in the Krivorysky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region.
“According to the investigation, the Russian armed forces carried out artillery shelling using a multiple rocket launcher system, and at least five strikes were carried out,” the office added.
No injuries were reported, but the bombing damaged a civilian house, and there are no military installations in this region.
The regional prosecutor’s office in the region accused Russia of violating the laws and customs of war.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that he would not hand over Kyiv, Mariupol or Kharkiv to Russia.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk had said that “giving up the city of Mariupol and laying down arms is out of the question.”
“Any surrender or laying down of a weapon is out of the question,” Vereshchuk was quoted by the news portal “Ukranska Pravda” as saying.
“We have already informed the Russian side of this,” she added.
Russia called on Ukrainian forces on Sunday to lay down their weapons in the besieged eastern port city.
