A source at the Russian United Aircraft Company said that the planes were produced at the Yuri Gagarin factory in the city of Komsomolsk on the Amur River in eastern Russia.
As stated by the Director General of the Corporation, Yuri Slosar, the factory has begun serial industrial production in batches of these aircraft at a high pace, and is implementing its obligations to supply the fighters on the specified dates.
Regarding the fighters delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defense, they underwent all tests and made an independent flight from the factory airport to their base.
It is noteworthy that the Russian “Rostec” corporation had spoken regarding the record range of the “Su-35S” fighter, and said that the designers of the 4++ generation fighter, which has superior maneuverability, placed fuel tanks inside the aircraft’s fuselage and wings, which ensures its long range of operation. .
It is worth noting that foreign experts highly evaluated the specifications of the new Russian fighters, which are distinguished by a great degree of stealth from radars and the presence of advanced electronic warfare devices, which undoubtedly prevents the radars of the American-made “Patriot” system from intercepting them.
