The GSM Arena, a specialized technical website, revealed the validity of the leaks that spread regarding Samsung’s intention to put a huge camera in its upcoming 200-megapixel Galaxy phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
And the site quoted Korean sources, that Samsung has already decided to put a 200-megapixel camera in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The American company Motorola preceded everyone with its flagship Motorola X30 Pro, which was revealed earlier this month, which includes a 200-megapixel camera, and the upcoming Xiaomi 12T Pro phone will include a camera with the same resolution.
It is expected that Samsung will try to distinguish its phone from Motorola and Xiaomi, using the new ISOCELL HP2 sensor for its Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is completely different from competitors.
The new sensor allows the lens to assemble 6 in 1 pixels, with an effective accuracy of 208 megapixels, where the images captured will be 34.6 megapixels, and it can also record 8K video clips at a rate of 60 frames per second.
