About twenty volunteers from the Adapted Military Service Regiment performed for the first time in concert on May 5, at a hotel on the east coast. Songs and military hymns translated into reo Tahiti, but also religious tunes and covers of popular songs were on the program, in front of a visibly won over audience.

After five months of preparation, they are finally on stage…a first for these young talents of the adapted military service regiment. At the rate of two rehearsals a day, they can now perform under the direction of a happy choirmaster. A mixed team made up of 14 boys and 13 girls, most of them singers at heart and proud to take part in this experience. The spectators present, members of the regiment or relatives of a singer were able to appreciate a quality concert. If in the army you learn to walk in step, you also know how to sing on stage…
