In a book entitled Endgame, royal observer Omid Scobie claims Kate Middleton shivered when she heard the voice of her now estranged sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.
Because, the two are said to have almost no direct communication since 2019. There are rumors regarding a rift between them.
The news also said that Markle once made Middleton cry.
Scobie, 42, further claims in the book, there are no signs of reconciliation between Markle and Kate, nor between Kate and Harry.
But sources said that last August, Harry and Kate allegedly spoke in a secret call. Behind the phone call was also their attempt to improve family relations.
Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020.
Since stepping away from royal life in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken their children to North America in an attempt to start a new life.
After finally settling in Montecito, California, the couple landed a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, followed by the release of a six-part Netflix documentary, as well as Harry’s protocol-shattering memoir Spare.
“The bad press surrounding Harry and Meghan has been a blessing for William and Kate,” he stressed once more
