The routes of Neuquén

In my particular case, I am talking regarding RP 62, from the completion of the asphalt to the bridge over the Quilquihue River at the mouth of the homonymous river, whose condition is extremely poor. The lack of maintenance of the gravel track, from a couple of years ago to date, makes it practically impassable. And not only in winter or rainy season; it is almost always in very poor condition.

The excuse is varied: that the machines are broken, that the road is very wet, that it is very dry, etc. And I’m talking regarding the busiest gravel road in the province. To this we can add the RP63, the RP19, the RP60 whose last kilometers before the border with Chile are generally destroyed.

It is hard to believe that such a rich province does not have the resources to maintain or pave the aforementioned routes. We are not talking regarding thousands of kilometers. If we add the ones I mentioned above, I don’t think they will reach 50 km.

In the particular case of Route 62 in the aforementioned section, by mid-February 2020 the preparation work for the subgrade to pour the flexible pavement had already been completed. The bureaucracy or I don’t know what made them delay and then the pandemic arrived and all the work done went overboard.

Today I asked Mr. Jorge Catalán (by Whatsapp) from DPV if they might pass the motor grader and in response I received an expletive. And before other questions that I made regarding the maintenance of the asphalted trace, he limited himself to “nailing the seen”.

To what extent should citizens bear the mistreatment and inefficiency of public officials who live off our taxes?

Thank you in advance for publishing the letter and the chat to which I refer is at your disposal.
