The researcher said in his thesis: “Much of the psychology research has overlooked many important behavioral phenomena, especially those related to religious and spiritual aspects. Therefore, we have a great and urgent need to direct research towards religious spiritual studies and their implications.” On human behavior, both general and personal, through the sources approved by us, which are the Holy Qur’an, the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet, and the product of the minds of Muslim scholars throughout the history of Islam.

The message added: “Our Arab and Egyptian society in particular has been exposed to difficult circumstances, and has gone through intellectual and human revolutions, political and educational circumstances, including an economic and cultural siege, and finally, what we are exposed to is a large number of challenges, internal crises, and sabotage of society’s infrastructure, which has had a negative impact on all segments of society.” These powerful factors are considered a threat to the religious beliefs and values that guide the individual’s behavior, as his belief in them is shaken and he finds himself in a constant struggle between working according to what he believes in or working to satisfy their needs according to what the current circumstances dictate to him, and doubt. As a result, the individual rebels, which leads to him being torn apart. Psychologically, he feels miserable and alienated from himself and from others, and emerges from one void to another. Therefore, he must have a spiritual belief and religion that will lead them to salvation and safety. This suffering must leave effects on religious commitment and psychological health among members of society, which makes there an urgent need to know the degree of religious commitment. And mental health in its various categories.

This is in addition to the effects of rapid cultural and technological development, which led the individual to a kind of conflict and turmoil, to the point that he reached a stage in which the alternatives and choices multiplied, such that the individual became helpless and unable to choose the best pattern of behavior. The temptations are many, and the elements of tension are greater, and what What we are witnessing today is a dissolution of familiar values (Kazim: 15, 2002), meaning that the way of life that our grandfathers or even our fathers practiced is different from the way that we follow now, and therefore what is appropriate to follow in Western society may not be appropriate to follow in our Arab society. The strange phenomena Regarding the Islamic religion and Arab culture that is sweeping our Arab and Islamic societies, it requires us to pause and reflect on its causes, paths, effects, and methods of treatment. This is the task of men of reform and professors of guidance and counseling.

In the community.

The study defined the religious incentive as a legal, heartfelt, hidden rebuke sufficient for the soul to refrain from violating the Sharia by word, deed, or intention. The origin of this reprimand is the arguments of God Almighty that forbid him from entering into what God Almighty has forbidden and forbidden to him, and that it is God’s admonition in his heart of insights. Which he put in it, the scholar Al-Tahir bin Ashour said (the motive is two things: my religion, which is justice, and my morals, which is chivalry).
