The hotel has completed the final phase of its redesign, a $13 million transformation that has completely revamped numerous aspects of the award-winning hotel. Led by architectural firm Rockwell Group, the project has given the hotel’s 193 luxurious guest rooms and suites, as well as its hallways, ballroom and Club Lounge, a new relevance inspired by Europe’s most elegant and sophisticated boutique hotels.

The renovation of the hotel’s luxurious Parkview Suites pays homage to the spirit and influence of one of Boston’s most notable personalities, Isabella Stewart Gardner. The hotel’s suites, which overlook the historic Boston Common and Public Garden, have been reimagined by New York’s Rockwell Group, whose desire to create a luxurious and immersive environment has been achieved by utilizing the celebrated stories and narrative of one of America’s leading female patrons of the arts. From the overall vision to the smallest details, the suites offer a perfect synergy of craftsmanship and creativity, reflected in environments that combine sophisticated, contemporary design with a reference to historical suggestion and inspiration.
