The columnist operating among others in “C à vous” with his column “The ABC of Bertrand Chameroy” spoke in an interview with our colleagues from the World. The opportunity for him to return to his passage from 2012 to 2016 in the program hosted by Cyril Hanouna.

The humorous host on the show “C à vous” did not start his career alongside Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine but with … Cyril Hanouna. It is in an interview given to our colleagues from Monde that Bertrand Chameroy returned to this stage of his career which he does not seem to miss.

After his studies in journalism, he obtained a position as a file manager at Canal+ and then became the voice-over for the reports on the program “Morandini”. It was only two years later that he developed his humor and his impertinence every week in a column entitled Le Débrief where he was spotted by Christelle Graillot, from Canal+.

In 2012, when “Touche pas à mon poste” was preparing to move from France 4 to D8, Bertrand Chameroy joined forces with Cyril Hanouna. At the time, he was heralded as ‘the transfer of the year’. However, this idyll did not last forever. On March 8, 2016, he decided to leave the show following only four years of service. He advanced a “lack of pleasure during his chronicles” and having struggled to manage the notoriety linked to his passage on the small screen. However, at the time of his departure a long crossing of the desert awaited him. Frightened by the lack of interest given to him by certain channels, he decided to backtrack and return to “Touche pas à mon poste”.

“It was a mistake”

“It was a mistake, it lasted four days”, he told the media, pointing to his brief reappearance. He leaves Baba and the whole team of columnists definitively in 2016 and will never set foot there once more. He explains this departure with aschoolboy atmosphere and pure entertainmentwhich made him uncomfortable. A program that did not suit him, so much so that he would have “cried tears of joy” leaving her.

And since then, it’s a decision he hasn’t seemed to regret. As proof, he recently launched a well-felt spade at his ex-boss. In a sequence of “What an era!”, the columnist found himself facing a photo of Cyril Hanouna. The goal ? Ask him a question. “Do you, like you say, really think TV is just TV because sometimes on your end I doubt it , he asked the host of “Do not touch my post!” on C8.
