Since September 1st, The Rings of Power, The Lord of the Rings series from Amazon Prime Video, has been charming fans with its fantastic universe and its sense of the epic. Besides, a little surprise is hidden in the series, do you know which one?
A multi-faceted actor
Even though The Rings of Power takes place four thousand years before The Lord of the Rings saga and The Hobbit trilogy, the three stories share the same common point in addition to being all from the same universe. Eh yes, the newly released series on Amazon Prime Video came with an unexpected little surprise: Jed Brophy. If this actor does not tell you anything, it is not surprising since he never had a title role in the saga, however, he played in each of the projects. Yes, you read that right !
Jed Brophy has indeed been on the sets of each of the films in the saga and is even in the series, since we might see him in the very first film The Lord of the Rings riding at full speed in the skin of a Nazgûl, ancient kings corrupted by wearing the Rings of Power. That’s not all, the multi-faced man also starred in the Hobbit trilogy to play a dwarf, namely Nori, who is Thorin’s distant cousin Oakshield.
It’s obviously not over, since Jed Brophy also plays several characters within the Two Towers themselves, starting with a rider from Rohan who we see on the back of a horse named Mad Max, but also an Orc repulsive or Sharku, an elderly Orc who is often seen on the back of Warg. Surprisingly, the latter attacks the inhabitants of Rohan, in other words, Jed Brophy has played on both sides.
Jed Brophy, also in The Rings of Power
To finish, we now find him in the series The Rings of Power therefore, since the actor showed himself in the skin of Vrath in episode 3, an Orc whose mission is to protect a labor camp in which evolve several important protagonists, including Medhor, but also Arondir or Revion.
As a reminder, episode 4 of The Rings of Power is expected for September 16, in other words, it will happen quickly.
