It is considered that the inquiry into allegations of fraud in the 2024 Election must take place before March 20 2024. This is because on that date, the General Election Commission (KPU) will announce the results of the 2024 Election.
“The most crucial thing is on the 20th or before that when friends in the legislature (process the inquiry right),” said Sabang Merauke Circle Director Syahganda Nainggolan in the Crosscheck by Medcom.id program entitled ‘Stun-stun, Questionnaire Hostage to a Legal Case? ‘ on the Medcom.id YouTube account, Sunday (10/3).
Syahganda reminded that fraud does not involve the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). However, it is also open to the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg).
Moreover, he continued, there are incumbent legislative candidates (candidates). These legislative candidates must be alert if they find fraud, but it should not be questioned in the right of inquiry.
“There are two elections, there are the presidential election and the legislative election. This legislative election is also important because we are afraid that our votes will be tampered with,” said Syahganda.
He also appreciated the seriousness of rolling out the right to inquiry. This is also reinforced by the statement of vice presidential candidate number 3 Mahfud MD who admitted that he had read the academic manuscript for the right to inquiry and was more than 75 pages thick.
“So this means that all these political parties that the people are worried regarding are not true, that they are not pursuing the right to inquiry,” said Syahganda. (Z-3)
