- La Ribera draws up the Cardiovascular Risk Factor Control Program in diabetic and/or hypertensive patients every year.
More than 60,000 patients with diabetes and/or hypertension benefit each year from the cardiovascular risk factor control program that the Department of Health of La Ribera develops in its health centers.
Through this program, which La Ribera launched in 2010, primary care doctors and nurses follow a care protocol whereby every 3 months these patients participate in outpatient medical examinations. The objective is to carry out a personalized follow-up in order to prevent possible complications in the medium and long term.
