Fully immersive driver and passenger experience with Lamborghini’s new infotainment system.
In the year of the brand’s 60th anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini presents the Revuelto, the first V12 HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) plug-in hybrid supercar.
The Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure thanks to its unprecedented new architecture, innovative design, highly efficient aerodynamics and a new carbon frame concept.
Combined power from the combustion engine and three electric motors, along with a dual-clutch gearbox making its first debut in a 12-cylinder Lamborghini, is 1,015 horsepower.
The propulsion system combines components with high specific power: the new 128 hp/litre combustion engine works in synergy with two axial-flow front motors offering an outstanding weight/power ratio, with a radial-flow electric motor integrated into the first eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox to debut in a 12-cylinder Lamborghini.
All three electric motors are powered by a dedicated high-power (4,500 W/kg) lithium-ion battery pack that also supports an all-electric drive mode.
“The new Revuelto is a milestone in the history of Lamborghini and an important pillar in our electrification strategy of the Direzione Cor Tauri”, declares Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini. “It is a unique and innovative car, but at the same time true to our DNA: the V12 is an iconic symbol of our supercar heritage and history.
The Revuelto was born to break the mold, combining a new 12-cylinder engine with hybrid technology, creating the perfect balance between offering the emotion that our customers demand with the need to reduce emissions”.
Carbon fiber, produced by hand at the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, is the main structural element of the new car, used not only for the monocoque and frame, but also for all bodywork elements, except for the doors and tailgates. bumper.
The extensive use of carbon fiber and lightweight materials, combined with the powerful power of the engine, contributes to achieving the best weight-to-power ratio in Lamborghini’s history: 1.75 kg/hp.
The new Revuelto combines these attributes to offer performance at the level of its segment: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds; from 0 to 200 km/h in less than 7 seconds; and a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
These figures are combined with its exceptional dynamism thanks to the introduction of electric torque vectoring and four-wheel drive available also in fully electric driving mode, ensuring that the Revuelto supercar expresses its amplified qualities both on the track and on the road. in daily driving.
“With the Revuelto we take the experience of driving a Lamborghini to a higher level”declares Rouven Mohr, Technical Director of Lamborghini.
“The Revuelto takes an important step forward in terms of reactivity and responsiveness to ensure the most emotional and natural drive in any environment.
The Revuelto is a car that offers maximum performance, but our objective from the beginning was to place it at the height of emotions behind the wheel”.
